The freedom Undergrounds enjoys being an independent coffee house has enabled us to form partnerships with coffee & tea companies that have the best beans and tea leafs on the planet as well as values that align with our overall mission.

For our drip coffees we have partnered with Land of a Thousand Hills from Atlanta, featuring beans from Rwanda and Haiti. LOTH provides a ‘living wage’ (higher than fair trade) for their coffee farmers and promote justice and reconciliation between the people of Rwanda that were devastated by genocide in the 90’s.  Their motto is ‘drink coffee. do good.’ – a motto we’ve adopted and a philosophy directly in line with our’s.

For our espresso as well as our single origin coffee beans we work with Supreme Bean coffee in North Hollywood. Supreme Bean focuses on excellent and fresh coffee. Together we were able to create our signature espresso blend (Undergrounds Espresso).

For our Specialty coffee offerings we chose Intelligentsia, an excellent coffee company from Chicago and Los Angeles.  Intelligentsia prides itself on the pursuit of the perfect brew in all of its manifestations, pushing the boundaries of flavor. Ask your barista what beans we currently have on hand.

And for our loose leaf teas we offer teas from Supreme Leaf in Los Angeles who sources only the highest quality teas, herbs, spices and all-natural flavorings from around the world.
